Why are certain functions not working on my stove?
Try turning off the breaker for 5 minutes to reset the electronics. Sometimes, all you need is a quick reset and everything is fixed. If this does not solve the issue, call for service.
How come I can't use two elements on 'HIGH' with my induction range?
This is normal for all induction cooktops. The elements are controlled by electronic boards that have a maximum power output. Therefore, when one element is heating on maximum, it is consuming most of the output. This is called 'Power sharing'. It is simply to protect your electronics to avoid any repairs.
How come one of my gas surface burners doesn't have a strong flame like it used to?
This could be due to a blockage in the nozzle of that specific surface burner. Remove the burner cap and look in the hole in the middle. The nozzle is a small brass part with a hole in the center. You can try to unblock it with a fine needle or a toothpick. (If using a toothpick, be very careful not to break off the tip of the toothpick inside of the nozzle). If the problem persists, call for service.
